SFI is a membership body for skydivers in India
The Skydivers Federation of India (SFI) is a non-profit licensed under Section 8(1) of the Companies Act, 2013, based in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
SFI sets expectations for its members through its Constitution, rules, safety standards and code of conduct. It runs boogies, camps, competitions and other events, and represents skydivers before government and regulatory platforms.
SFI gives recommendations and guidance. It does not replace the authority of a drop zone, instructor, rigger, pilot or aviation authority. Membership does not grant a licence or rating.

Accurate details
Give accurate information when you register, and keep your contact details up to date.
Licences and ratings
Hold the licences, ratings and qualifications for the jumps you make.
Follow instructions
Follow the drop zone, instructor, pilot, rigger, safety officer and jumpmaster.
Equipment checks
SFI recommends a full inspection every six months, or sooner if needed. Manufacturer, rigger and drop zone rules come first.
Fit to jump
Never jump while impaired by alcohol, drugs or any substance that affects judgement.
Report incidents
Report significant incidents, accidents and equipment failures promptly.
